“Concerti iConcert” strikes a chord with all those looking for a vibrant soul-soothing experience and offers an elegant synergy between the season, venue, music and you. Join the International Chamber Artists (ICA) on Sunday, March 25, 2012 at 4:00 PM at St. Gregory the Great Church, located at 5535 N Paulina St, Chicago, IL 60640, one block from Ashland and Bryn Mawr. ICA will be performing J. S. Bach’s Keyboard Concerto in D Minor No. 1, BWV 1052, Antonio Vivaldi’s Concerto for 2 Cellos in G Minor, RV 531, Erwin Schulhoff’s Concertino for Flute, Viola & Double Bass and Eric Whitacre’s Five Hebrew Love Songs. “This concert is very special, it explores the paradox of the soloist and chamber musician,” says Patrick Godon, ICA Founder and Artistic Director. “It also poses a timely question; can your listening experience on an iPod ever replace hearing a concert of live music? Come and answer that question for yourself.” ICA concerts are free with a suggested donation of $15. For more information, visit www.ICAmusic.org.
