March 7, 2012 - PRLog -- RecyCoal, a company operating to deliver sustainable solutions for previously mined sites is increasing its workforce to cater for growing demand on both home soil and abroad.

The company’s unique service has ensured its stance as a sort after provider for many ex-mined sites across Europe, the US and Australia.  RecyCoal works in conjunction with land and mine owners, authorities and the Environment Agency to offer a complete coal removal from variable contaminated feed and restoration service, which ensures previously mined sites are restored to high environmental standards and in keeping with the surrounding landscapes.

David Stafford, sales and marketing manager for RecyCoal commented: “As the only company in the world able to offer this unique service, demand is certainly growing and therefore it is essential we employ the best people to grow with the company.”

RecyCoal has appointed Brian Tinnion to the position of UK Development Director, Tracy Arkwright as HR Manager, and promoted Pat Nulty from Site Manager to Project Engineer.

Brian Tinnion, has over 35 years’ experience working in the coal mining industry in surveying, estate management and property including active and disused tips, and major land reclamation and restoration projects. Brian will be taking a greater lead on the development of new projects in the UK and will also oversee the development work in Poland.  He is responsible for property, planning and environmental issues.

Tracy Arkwright, brings 20 year’s HR experience to RecyCoal, 15 of these were spent in the British Army. Tracy served in the UK, Germany, the Netherlands and Norway; as well as completing operational tours to Iraq and Bosnia.  Tracy’s focus will be on the recruitment of management and staff for the company’s growth, both in the UK and overseas, with a particular focus on sourcing suitable personnel and settling UK personnel overseas.

Pat Nulty, joined RecyCoal, to train as a Site Manager three months ago. However, due to the increased number of planned sites, a new position of Project Engineer was created.  Pat brings 40 years engineering, leadership and management experience to RecyCoal, 35 of which were spent in the British Army (REME).  Pat is an Incorporated Engineer, a Member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology, and a Fellow of the Institute of Leadership and Management. Pat’s focus will be on the processes and procedures surrounding project planning for new and current RecyCoal sites in the UK and abroad.

Brian Tinnion, UK Development Director for RecyCoal commented: “To be part of such a vastly expanding company with projects on-going worldwide is a very exciting prospect.  I am looking forward to the challenges this new role will bring and helping to drive the company’s growth strategy forward.”

RecyCoal operates a unique coal recovery, land reclamation and remediation business, which has returned many former derelict colliery sites and spoil tips to beneficial amenity, employment and residential uses. The RecyCoal service is a fast, efficient, environmentally positive and cost effective way of winning remnant coal from active coal mines, abandoned mine spoil heaps and mine washery discard.

RecyCoal has established companies in the UK, Australia and the USA with offices in Brisbane, Pittsburgh, and its head office in Doncaster in the UK.  RecyCoal is currently working on projects in the UK, Australia, the USA, Poland, South Africa and Indonesia.
