City of Gulfport, Florida to Sponsor Annual "Antiques in the Park" March 17, 2012!

March 6, 2012 - PRLog -- The next date for "Antiques in the Park," Gulfport's outdoor antiques fair, is Saturday, March 17, 2012, from 10 am to 5 pm, with a raindate of Saturday, March 24th. This eclectic show has gained a strong dealer and customer base, and is always packed with shoppers.  

Celebrating its 4th year in Gulfport (southern St. Petersburg), “Antiques in the Park” is co-sponsored by the City and the Gulfport Lions Club, and managed by Hula Hula Productions. Exhibitors are set-up throughout Clymer Park, located at the intersection of Gulfport Blvd.(22nd Ave South) and Beach Blvd, the main thoroughfare off I-275 on the way to the Gulf beaches.  Some of the vintage fun that can be found at "Antiques in the Park" includes estate jewelry, old pottery, art, china and glassware, clocks, tools, retro and modern décor, linens, toys, old Aloha shirts, furniture, primitives, folk and postcards.  In addition to erecting large street banners on the main street the week prior to the event, the City is also helping to promote the show through email, flyers, and cable television.
