BILJANA's passion as a visionary painter flows from the sacred path of self-realization, and the beauty and sacred geometry of spirit and matter that animates all Nature. Each of the paintings is held by a flowing ‘life force’ which reveals a ‘wisdom story’ within its movement. The vibrant imagery appear tranquil on her canvas, with a shape-shifting nature that mystically inspires and invites the seer.
BILJANA explores a unique creative technique that allows her to tap in and understand the body’s wisdom, to express emotion, and to show the interrelatedness of the spiritual manifestation into form. With many hours of ‘dream work’, sounding and expressive movement, she travels through the pathways of consciousness and intuitively ‘reaches inner depths of knowing’. She has found that Life is ‘breathing’
Currently residing and working from Toronto, BILJANA BANCHOTOVA showed the gift of weaving and expressive arts since young age. In time, these creative ambitions intuitively embodied into her life walk and sacred work. The longing of evolutionary movement opened the Door and she began her travels throughout Mother Earth, gracing many nations & lands —from Greece and the Aegean islands, to Hungary, Egypt and South Africa, were her initiations began for the ancestral knowledge, the mysteries of life and time, and the beauty and wisdom of Earth. She continued her journeys in Canada, communing with its multi-cultural society, embracing the sacred teachings of the First Nations, celebrating in ceremonial dances with the Aztecs, and offering at the Mayan fires for the rebirthing of self, Earth and Humanity.
