WHAT: “I’ll get you my pretty and your friends too!” That’s what supporters of Marian Middle School in St. Louis have been overheard saying with respect to plans for their upcoming gala, Marian Magic 2012: A Wicked Good Time. Attendees will be treated to an evening of delicious food and amazing auction items, while helping to provide scholarships to the students of Marian Middle School. Silent and live auction items will be up for grabs with Rene Knott, Sports Anchor for KSDK Channel 5, returning as the auctioneer.

WHO: Founded in 1999 by seven women’s religious orders, Marian Middle School is a Catholic school dedicated to serving adolescent girls of all religious, racial and ethnic backgrounds in grades five through eight. Students at Marian experience a rigorous academic schedule with an intensive 10-month, 10-hour-a-day school year designed to develop the critical thinking, problem solving, leadership, moral framework, spirituality and life skills necessary to help them succeed in the next phase of their academic life. The school’s graduate support program guides students financially, emotionally and socially throughout their high school years, targeted toward the college preparatory setting.
