Indiana Students Urged to 'Shop With Their Heart'

T.I.S. College Bookstore and The Indiana Shop team up to give some much needed financial aid to the Salvation Army's Tornado relief efforts in Southern Indiana.

March 7, 2012 - PRLog -- T.I.S. College Bookstore and The Indiana Shop team up for a one of kind charity effort to support the Salvation Army's Southern Indiana tornado relief efforts. The beginning of March brought horrific storms that stretched from our Nation's mid-section to parts of Ohio and also brought with it some of the most powerful straight line tornadoes the U.S. has ever seen.  These storms will go down in history for the amount of damage they have caused and for the lives that were tragically ended.  Both T.I.S. College Bookstore and The Indiana Shop are Bloomington Indiana staples and considered home-grown retail giants.  "We sit in the heart of Indiana University and stand to really make an impact with the amount of aid we can send to Southern Indiana, we need the students to get behind this." says T.I.S. College Bookstore's Chris Kurtz.

"Shop With Your Heart" will take place all day Wednesday March 7th.  If you have something to buy from either T.I.S. College Bookstore or The Indiana Shop, those locations want you to do it on Wednesday March 7th because they will give 10% of sales from both locations to the Salvation Army.  For more information about the Salvation Army's efforts in Southern Indiana visit http://donate.salvationarmyusa.org/indiana/stormrelief .
