An Elite Selection are to Speak at the Second Saudi Downstream 2012

The Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu is to host the Second Saudi Downstream Forum & Exhibition which is being held under the Royal Patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on 6-7 March 2012.

March 6, 2012 - PRLog -- The Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu is to host the Second Saudi Downstream Forum & Exhibition which is being held under the Royal Patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on 6-7 March 2012 at The Al-Fanateer Cultural Center, Jubail Industrial City, Saudi Arabia. There will be participation from an elite selection of distinguished speakers specialising in developing petrochemical and process industries and the heads of international industrial companies operating in Saudi Arabia and internationally.
   
It is expected that participants will discuss various issues related to petrochemical and mineral industries and will look at the Kingdom’s long-term strategy. This strategy has been created and is steered by the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu as part of its effort to develop industrial integration between basic raw material products and process material products. The purpose of this is to support the development of the national economy, diversify sources of income and invest in available resources to boost the capacity and quality of national industries, both domestically and internationally.

The Forum will involve the participation of a number of bodies, including the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the Ministry of Finance, the National Programme for the Development of Industrial Clusters as well as SABIC (Saudi Company for Basic Industries), Saudi Aramco, Tasnee, the Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Maaden), Petro Rabigh, Chevron Phillips Petrochemicals, Dow Chemicals, Exxon Mobil, Bechtel Saudi Arabia. A number of local, Arab and international industrial companies and media companies will also attend.
