Founded by Robert “Bob” Farrell in 1963, Farrell’s is a step back in time over 100 years to an old-time ice cream parlour. Farrell’s is known for its delicious ice cream and food concoctions, oversized portions, and rowdy but fun party atmosphere. At it’s height, Farrell’s Ice Cream Parlours had a130 locations nation wide. After its sale in 1985 to an investment group, the Farrell’s concept was changed and by 1990 all the Farrell’s nationwide were closed, with the exception of a single Farrell’s in San Diego. In 2009, Orange County, CA based, Parlour Enterprises Inc revived the original Farrell’s concept envisioned by Bob Farrell and began moving ahead with the reopening of Farrell’s Ice Cream Parlors. Farrell’s can be found in Mission Viejo, Santa Clarita, Rancho Cucamonga and opening December 26 in Downtown Brea. More information can be found at www.FarrellsUSA.com.
