KNOXVILLE, TN – March 1, 2012 – Go Dance, the longest running ballroom dance studio in Knoxville, today officially announced its new name, logo and tagline. Formerly National Dance Clubs, the ballroom dance school will now operate under the name “Go Dance.” The studio also unveiled a new logo with the tagline, “Go Dance, Knoxville.”
“Our passion is dancing,” said Sam Gordon, owner of Go Dance. “From Ballroom to Latin and amateur to professional, we believe Go Dance is Knoxville’s premier ballroom dance studio. Therefore, we wanted our to excite, inspire and motivate Knoxville to get up, get moving and, simply, go dance. With our new name, logo and tagline, the studio’s brand is now aligned with a simple and elegant call-to-action.”
Speaking to the dance studio’s new logo, Gordon commented, “Go Dance’s new logo utilizes clean clines and negative space in order to effectively communicate both the studio’s new name, message and tag line. We selected the colors of green and blue to invoke feelings of action and trust, respectively. The silhouette of the couple embracing mid-dance serves to communicate both the studio’s function and the passion the studio has for both its students and the craft of ballroom dancing.”
Go Dance is a full-service, ballroom dance studio, providing both private and group dance instruction to students of all ages and ability. Lessons are offered in all styles including, Ballroom and Latin dances, such as: Waltz, Cha-Cha, Tango, Salsa and Swing. The studio also provides to all students sponsored, social events, as well as opportunities to compete in regional and national dance competitions.
