The survey questionnaire is answered exclusively by staff members who were asked to score Boxwood on 70 statements grouped into eight areas including leadership, wellbeing, my manager, my team, fair deal, giving something back, my company and personal growth. Boxwood scored highly for stimulating work (88%) and 80% of staff agreed that profits are not the only driver of business.
Boxwood achieved positive scores in the ‘giving something back’ section, and is currently sponsoring The Fabergé Big Egg Hunt. Running until Easter, the event aims to become the world’s biggest egg hunt to raise vital funds for charities Action for Children and Elephant Family. There is also a special event planned for staff to see if they can find all of the 22 eggs within the square mile of the City of London, including the Boxwood egg, Anima Mundi ‘Awakening the soul of the world’ created by South African sculptor, Jill Berelowitz.
The survey comes hot on the heels of the MCA awards 2012 shortlist, where Boxwood has been nominated for the Change Management in the Private Sector award, this year for their work with Grosvenor. Last year Boxwood won this award and two others, including the overall Platinum Award for their work with Carphone Warehouse.
Chris Wakerley MBE, Managing Director of Boxwood, commented: ‘It is an important milestone for us to be recognised as one of the Best Companies to work for. People are at the heart of everything we do at Boxwood as we build an exciting, fun and profitable business, and we strive to make our company a great place to work. To be independently ranked so highly in this unique survey by our own staff members makes us very proud.
‘2012 is shaping up to be an exciting year at Boxwood, with major client wins across all business areas and a nomination in the MCA awards for the second year running. Our teams are committed to producing the highest quality of work for our clients and having that work nominated for our industry’s most important awards is a great endorsement.’
