Alpha Trader Forum To Give the Buy-side Voice to the Nordics

March 6, 2012 - PRLog -- London, K&K Global Consulting Limited today announced details on the inaugural Alpha Trader Forum (ATF) Nordics, to take place on 15th March, in Stockholm Sweden. The first in a series of regional European events follows the success of The Alpha Trader Forum, due to take next place in London on 30 March 2012. ATF Nordics will include debates around topics such as Dark Pools of Liquidity, Smart Order Routing and Commission Sharing Agreements, all key to the buy side traders in this region.
The event format will follow suit from the London roundtable, with one representative from each of the strategic sell-side partners - Bloomberg Tradebook, Credit Suisse, Citigroup, Instinet and Sanford C. Bernstein – to join in the invitation-only buy-side debate.
Anita Karppi, Managing Director, Alpha Trader Forum, says: “Following the success of the London forums, several head traders asked K&K Global Consulting to give the same voice to the Nordic buy-side. There is clearly a need to provide the buy-side trading community with a private platform to discuss market changes, demands and concerns, many of which differ in importance and priority according to business location. ATF Nordics will centre the debate around the key issues for buy-side traders in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden.”
