LGM releases its first hit Sci-Fi publication - "Supernature!"

“The earth we abuse and the living things we kill will, in the end, take their revenge; for in exploiting their presence we are diminishing our future.”

This 1958 quote from acclaimed writer and social critic Marya Mannes foreshadows the new science fiction novel by H.V.Lyons, ‘SUPERNATURE’ (340 pp., tpb, $14.95, ISBN: 978-0-9837172-0-1). Inspired by the above quote as well as the 1977 hit song of the same name by French song writer Marc Cerrone, Supernature is a story about genetic engineering gone awry.

H.V.Lyons has created a story that builds up momentum steadily through a series of mysterious circumstances designed to keep the reader guessing at every turn. When the mystery finally unfolds it does so at the pace of a high speed rollercoaster. Ami Blackwelder of Hot Gossip Hot Reviews says, “The story goes full speed ahead.” Roger Wilson author of Phantom Four: Children of the Grave comments, “The plot sucks you in and doesn’t let you go.”

As a cum laude graduate from Mercy College with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems and a Master’s degree in Special Education, Henry Lyons has over 20 years of experience in the fields of technology and education, covering a wide range of disciplines including, but not limited to, science, biology, early childhood development, sociology, psychology, computer graphics, and systems integration.

Presently, H.V.Lyons works as a New York City Special Education Teacher with a specialty in science. After school, he coaches the school’s poetry workshop, and in 2009 he published his first book of poetry, entitled Deep Thoughts, which also includes his memoir. The memoir focuses on a tragic period of Lyons’ life when while running for political office, you lost his beloved daughter.

H.V.Lyons has always been a fan of intelligent science fiction that uses believable science, both written and on film.  This led him to write this his first science fiction novel.
