PRLog (Press Release) - Mar. 5, 2012 - Founded in 2009, the LSEsu Emerging Markets Society was created with a vision of expanding students’ understanding of emerging markets’ strengthening role in our world. We bring together leading academics, executives, investors, and representatives of governments and NGOs from throughout the developed and developing world for an open and thorough discussion on emerging market issues.

The LSEsu Emerging Markets Forum is a non-profit student-run conference organised by the LSEsu Emerging Markets Society, and is proudly sponsored by Credit Suisse, Antevorta Capital Partners and the LSE Annual Fund.

This student oriented event is designed to develop university students’ intellectual understanding of the most current issues in emerging markets, and to inspire and inform their participation in these areas. The previous LSEsu Emerging Markets Forum was held in February 2011. With 1067 applications for just 250 places, the Forum was a great educational success, delivering relevant and timely discussions through a wide range of fascinating themes.

Now in its third year, the next Forum will be on the 5th and 6th March 2012 at the Lancaster London Hotel. It promises to be an exceptional academic and networking experience, bringing together a leading speaker line-up with the brightest delegates from all degrees and universities from around the world.
