Lee & Associates Newport Beach Hires Senior Vice President

March 5, 2012 - PRLog -- Lee & Associates, one of the largest commercial real estate brokerage firms in the country, has named Thomas West senior vice president/principal of its Newport Beach office.

As a 22-year industry veteran in commercial real estate sales and leasing, West boasts a transaction value in excess of $2 billion and over seven million square feet. Formerly a senior vice president with Grubb & Ellis, he specializes in office, research and development and industrial facilities. He is qualified to handle and coordinate all phases of real estate activity that include listings, site selection studies, tenant representation, appraisal, lease analysis, facilities counseling, lease renewals, financing, construction, sales/leasing of corporate real estate and marketing.

Prior to joining Grubb & Ellis in 2005, West was a broker with CB Richard Ellis for 15 years. Some of his professional achievements include ranking as the No. 1 National First-Year Salesperson-Nationwide, landing in the Top 10 of the CB Richard Ellis Newport Beach Office, the Top 20 of Grubb & Ellis Newport Beach Office and being named the Irvine Company Office Broker of the Year.

In his experience, West has represented numerous clients including McMorgan, Steelcase, RREEF and IDS. He currently markets a number of projects in the Irvine Business Complex and South Coast metro areas.

West has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Southern California and holds real estate licenses in California, Montana and Utah.
