Riverside Cottage Hosts First Annual Bridal Open House

March 2, 2012 - PRLog -- Brides, grooms-to-be and their guests are invited to a Bridal Open House at the Riverside Cottage Wedding & Event Venue on Sunday, March 25th, 2012. The free event will take place from 2 to 5 p.m. This exquisite venue located at 1595 Pride Estates Road, Tuscumbia, Alabama is the private estate of Mrs. Diane Sneed.

“When I sit down with most newly engaged brides to begin the wedding planning process, they are at a complete loss and often overwhelmed. Visiting bridal shows, reading wedding magazines, searching Pinterest and blogs are all excellent resources for ideas, but there is just no substitute for the real thing. I decided to stage a real wedding ceremony and reception to give couples a glimpse of what their wedding day might look like” said Traci Talley, Venue Manager. “At Riverside Cottage’s open house, couples will taste, touch, hear, see and experience Riverside Cottage in the way our bride’s have experienced it on their wedding day.”

The venue’s first annual Bridal Open House aims to inspire couples by featuring a mock wedding ceremony and reception. Together with its preferred vendors, Riverside Cottage will give self-guided tours of its enchanting grounds dressed in true wedding splendor. The preferred vendors are: All Occasion Rentals, Celebrations by Beth Ann, Clydesdale Carriage Rides, Mary’s Bridal and Formal Wear, Party Pro’s USA, Save the Day Designs, Reveal MedSpa, Tuscumbia Florist, Universal Sound, Weddings by Melissa, and Portraits by Sharie.

The open house will feature formal tables complete with linens and tablescapes. It will also include floral arrangements, unique decorating designs, tent display, reception food displays, candy buffet displays and wedding cake displays. Guests will enjoy entertaining music, gourmet appetizers, delectable wedding cake, beverages and lots of fun door prizes while touring the venue. Riverside Cottage will add a pampering touch to its guests by offering complimentary carriage rides compliments of Clydesdale Carriage Rides as well as makeup demonstrations by Reveal MedSpa.
