PRLog (Press Release) -
Mar. 2, 2012 - BarCamp Orlando is an “unconference”
, which means it’s a non-commercial event and is less structured than typical conference type events. At BarCamp Orlando, people come from different backgrounds to share and learn from each other. Anyone is welcome to present a talk on whatever topic they’re passionate about, and most speakers bring along a slide deck and are prepared to give short 20 minute talks. BarCamp Orlando pulls together professionals passionate about a variety of subjects, including technology, arts, marketing, music, photography, social media, sales and design--just to name a few.
BarCamp Orlando seeks to be a collaborative environment where people share with each other, learn new ideas and meet other passionate people.
Registration will open at 9:00 a.m. and presenters are encouraged to come early to sign up for their time slot, (there are no pre-slotted talks). There will be four presentation areas, one in the Voxeo Common Area in the North tower on the 10th floor, and three more on the 20th floor.
