Suzuki Institute Students dazzle shoppers as they play a beautiful rhapsody of music

PRLog (Press Release) - Mar. 2, 2012 - On Thursday evening Westfield Sarasota Square Mall Food Court, was alive with the sound of music. Shoppers were captivated as students from the Suzuki Institute School of Music. performed a melodious mini violin concert in efforts to raise funds for the Suzuki Endowment for Music Education (SEME).

SEME was founded by Darryl and Joyce Mizer in attempt to share the love and joy of music and children to the community through public performances., and to make their programs accessible by providing Scholarships to support and assist students who would otherwise not have the opportunity and particularly those who aspire to have a career in music.

The Suzuki Endowment for Music Education, Inc (SEME) is a not-for-profit organization, officially licensed to support and promote Suzuki education in North, Central and South America.. We are grateful and appreciate our resident and corporate sponsors. A special thanks to Chick Fila for co-sponsoring last night’s fundraising event.
