"We rely on sponsors to help with the costs of hosting such a large event," explains Rick Politte, President/CEO. "Because of our sponsors, we can keep ticket prices down for community residents."
Last year, nearly 500 people participated in the prayer breakfast. "People of all faiths come together to pray for the nation and be thankful for our many blessings," says Politte. "It's an inspiring morning."
People attend the YMCA breakfast from the Conejo Valley, Simi Valley, Moorpark and other surrounding communities. "We have an impactful program planned," says Politte. "It's always gratifying to see so many people setting aside this special morning each year to reflect and join together as one spirit."
Sponsorships are being sought from local congregations, businesses and individuals. Sponsorship levels are platinum, $1,000, gold, $500 and silver, $250. Sponsors receive publicity on promotional materials and tickets to the event. The Southeast Ventura County YMCA serves the Conejo Valley, Moorpark, Santa Rosa Valley and Simi Valley.
The deadline for sponsorship is March 26. For more sponsorship information, contact Jim Carper, director of development at the Southeast Ventura County YMCA, at 805-497-3081, ext. 103 or email@example.com.
