Herbs from the mountains of Crete for natural healing

PRLog (Press Release) - Mar. 2, 2012 - My name is Marianna Founti-Vasi. I was born in Athens and I'm living in Crete since 1989. I have a big affection for children and plants. After my studies in Paris and 10 years working with children, I wanted to dedicate myself to the seek of old recipes and methods regarding herbs for natural healing. I was looking for alternative treatments back to natural medicines.
 This search took me to many countries, met a lot of people who still have this kind of knowledge and finally after a few years me and my husband moved to Crete. We made the choice for this island, because here since ancient times known cure and natural healing methods are still applied.
 Here in Crete the environment is still pure and clean so Mother Nature is giving us all the good things we need to keep ourselves healthy and fit. Here I can study the plants and experiment with them finding new applications. I turned my hobby into a profession and I try to inspire people to treat themselves in a way that only MotherNature can show.

We gather all kinds of medicinal herbs from the mountains of Crete and with the appropriate procedures they become herbal products following the old recipes with no conservatives for several uses.
