In a move that has the media and fans alike in an outrage, the Los Angeles Clippers’ management has asked long-time fan Darrell Bailey a.k.a. “Clipper Darrell to “…remove our team name from his stage name.”
If you are a Clipper’s fan you’re more than likely aware of Darrell’s story. Sports information website Inspin.com Chief Nick Riley had this to say on him: “A die-hard follower for over 15 years, you can say he’s been through thick and thin with the Clipper’s;
It’s not enough that the Clippers have only made it to the post-season a whopping four times, or that their most recent appearance to the playoffs, in 2006, was the one time they have made it out of the first round. Adding insult to injury, the Clippers’ management now slaps their most loyal fans in the face by chucking out and declaring Clipper Darrell unwelcome .
In light of this, and contrary to management’s opinion, Inspin.com does believe that they have wronged Darrell and have announced to pay his season tickets for the remaining games. “All Darrell has to do is call us at 1-855-4INSPIN.”
