Amron International Starts “Brand of the Month” Promotion

PRLog (Press Release) - Mar. 1, 2012 - VISTA, Calif., — Amron International, a leading manufacturer and supplier of commercial diving equipment and other outdoor gear, is starting a new promotional program that will provide exciting benefits for both its vendors and customers. Beginning in March, Amron will be featuring one of its partners as the “Brand of the Month” that will include special sales incentives, giveaways, and digital and social media exposure.

The first Brand of the Month will be Kirby Morgan, the leading name in commercial diving helmets and full-face masks. As part of the initial promotion, Amron will be giving away a Kirby Morgan Men’s Sport Watch, which has a $125 retail value. Anyone who purchases Kirby Morgan equipment through Amron from March 1 – March 31, 2012 will be automatically entered into the prize drawing. Amron holds the largest stock of Kirby Morgan equipment in the industry.

“When it comes to our marketing, we’re always looking to try out new ideas and programs that will excite our customers,” said Mike Malone, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Amron International. “This new Brand of the Month promotion is especially effective because it’s designed to work well not only for Amron, but also for our partners. They will get greater exposure in the marketplace through emails, social media, and prominent placement on our website. Our customers also benefit because they’re going to be able to take advantage of special discounts and free giveaways from their favorite brands.”

Each partner featured as the Brand of the Month will get an eye-catching ad on the Amron homepage, receive a promotional banner on the corresponding category page of the website, a dedicated brand page, and an email will be sent out announcing the promotion. Social media will be leveraged with posts on Facebook, Twitter, and weekly blog entries on Amron’s website highlighting one of the brand’s products.  In addition, a press release will be distributed each month to announce the new brand being promoted.

Each brand will be expected to provide an incentive to purchase, which could include special pricing or the offer of a promotional item. The brand should promote its participation in the program through its own digital media via Facebook, Twitter, or emails.
