About the Author:  Deb Warrick was born in Charleston, SC and lived there all of her life.  She was raised by her paternal grandmother and her father.  The inspiration to become a writer of poetry came from her 10th grade English teacher.  It wasn't until the lost of her grandmother in 1979, that she wrote her first heart-felt poem.
