March 1, 2012 - PRLog -- On Saturday March 24th Charles Bentley Associates Ltd is running the first of a regular series of personal development workshops in central London. These are in a new one-day format, to make them more accessible to a wider audience than the two-day workshops that have been run successfully over the last ten years or so. Using the Unitive™ approach to personal development, these workshops provide a comprehensive framework within which participants can get in touch with their intuitive insights and regain their personal power - enabling a more fulfilling journey through this beautiful yet imperfect world.

Today's climate of economic uncertainty that dominates the news is presenting many people with significant decisions to make which affect their work, life and family. These workshops provide an opportunity for people to review the way they navigate their way through these uncharted waters. They can take time out for just one day and explore their approach to dealing with the everyday challenges that they face.

This new one-day workshop format has been developed not only to address the challenges of change and uncertainty but also to provide participants with a forum to address a wide range of issues. One of the unique qualities of these workshops is that, just like life itself, there is no set pattern to how they unfold. This inherent flexibility means that each one-day workshop is a unique experience - for participants and facilitators alike. Participants in previous workshops have focused on areas such as performing under pressure, building inner confidence and effective self-expression.

Highly participative in nature, the workshops are also an opportunity to develop inter-personal communication skills. They provide participants with an opportunity to become aware of the language that they and other people use and the clues this gives as to how we perceive the world.

London personal development coach Charles Bentley says, "What each workshop enables participants to explore is their perception of what is going on in the outside world, rather than what is actually going on - and there are often clues to this in the language that is used, both verbal and non-verbal."

This personal development workshop is a chance for those attending to become aware of these clues for themselves. As well as building their self-awareness they can also develop a deeper understanding of their out-dated attitudes and personal behaviour patterns. Self-awareness and self-knowledge are essential before being able to travel effectively on the journey back to authentic individuality.

Andy Turnbull, one of the workshop facilitators says "Even in today's more difficult environment, the main issue for many people is internal, not external - it's often the way that they represent the outside world to themselves that is at the heart of people's perceived problems. This workshop provides the opportunity for people to re-assess this and become aware, maybe for the first time, that they are viewing the world through the distorted lenses of the past, rather than how it actually is today."

"The workshop is an interactive learning experience. It introduces those attending to core concepts and techniques that can be used for self-development and for fostering personal relationships that are more satisfying and authentic" says group facilitator Anne Katrin Schlag, "As well as being insightful events, the people attending the workshops always seem to have great fun!"
