International legal and claims consultants C Solutions Ltd are pleased to announce two senior appointments in Singapore and Hong Kong, boosting the firm’s presence in Asia. Clive Reed joins the firm in March 2012 as Senior Consultant in Singapore and Clive Beesley will join in April 2012 as a Director in Hong Kong. Both will work alongside members of the firm’s global shipping team, assisting clients in particular with the investigation and management of maritime casualties.

Clive Reed joins from his role as Senior Marine Manager at a leading international law firm in Singapore, prior to which he spent time at sea on a variety of vessels, including eight years as Master of handysize and panamax bulk carriers. He also spent time ashore working for a major Monaco-based ship owner, developing in-house systems for compliance with SOPEP, cargo stowage/securing regulations and the ISM code.

Clive Beesley began his shipping and insurance career in 1978 with a leading law firm in London, developing a practice with an emphasis on casualty related work. He then spent 20 years in Hong Kong dealing with all manner of investigative, claims handling, arbitration and litigation matters.
