PRLog - Feb. 29, 2012 - WHAT:  Dave Thompson could easily be described as the consummate recycler - transforming objects that normally have a non-art function into compelling works of art. This talented found-object artist recovers discarded items, often metal, and creates whimsical sculptures. Trash to Treasure: The Sculptures of Dave Thompson is the inaugural art exhibit for the eight-acre Gardens at the Springs Preserve which features a colorful variety of native and desert-adapted plant species. This exhibit is free for Springs Preserve members and included with general admission. For additional information visit springspreserve.org.
