Researchers gather in Boston to present latest findings on Sensory Processing Disorder

Feb. 29, 2012 - PRLog -- Denver, CO – The Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD) Foundation will present its 14th International Symposium and Parent Workshop and celebrate the 10th anniversary of the SPD Scientific Work Group at the University of Massachusetts Campus Center in Boston on March 16-18, 2012.

The SPD Foundation is proud to bring its 14th International Symposium and Parent Workshop to Boston. The Symposium will feature reports from leaders in the SPD field, including a presentation by Executive Director Dr. Lucy Jane Miller on highlights from the SPD Scientific Work Group’s astounding decade of SPD therapy and research. Other noted speakers include keynote Dr. Alice Carter on family and social dynamics surrounding school-age children with SPD, and Dr. Margaret Bauman on developments in understanding the neuroanotomical components of SPD.
