March 9th, 2012-Friday Nyte Lights hosted by Former NFLer Geoff Pope and CBS Syma Chowdhry

March 9th, 2012 Chastang Enterprises teams up with Former NFLer and Superbowl Champion Geoff Pope and CBS Syma Chowdhry to raise awareness of the Epilepsy Foundation.  The event will be held at Birmingham’s Southbar located at 210 South Old Woodward. The event will be held at Birmingham’s elite venue, Southbar and red carpet begins at 9p sharp.  The event is sponsored by Valentine Vodka-Detroit, C&M Protection, Avalon International Breads, Treasure Jewelry -Eastland Mall,  Detroit Riot Radio and music by DJ Equad.

Former NFLer Geoff Pope is an advocate for the Epilepsy Foundation. In the month of March the Epilepsy Foundation holds its annual walk to help raise awareness of the disease.  Geoff Pope is involved with the Epilepsy Foundation in respect for his grandmother who has suffered from seizures in the past. For the past four years he has served as a spokesperson for the foundation, to not only shine a light on epilepsy, but to dispel myths associated with the condition. The Epilepsy Foundation was established in 1967 as the Epilepsy Foundation of America, merging two largely regional epilepsy organizations. It began operating as the Epilepsy Foundation on January 1998.
About Geoff Pope: Geoff Pope is a native of Detroit, MI. He is a free agent NFL defensive back who has played for the Cincinnati Bengals, Philadelphia Eagles, and the New York Giants, in which he earned a Super Bowl ring in Super Bowl XLII
