“We are looking to help Reseda small businesses in a practical way and offer workshops that provide cost effective solutions and can help impact a business’s bottom line,” said Elizabeth Valverde, co-owner of Green Financial Services and co-organizer of the event.
The workshop will offer insight from a panel of financial professionals from local Reseda businesses including Chase Bank, ADP, State Farm, Green Financial Services and a member of the ShopReseda initiative.
Panel topics include a discussion about proper bookkeeping, tax filing and planning, proper classification of employees, SBA loans and business insurance. Local businesses are encouraged to come with questions for our panel to get the most out of this workshop.
“Reseda has much to offer,” said Noelle Guzman, EDC Chair. “The goal of the EDC is to encourage local residents and business owners to find out what resources are available in their own backyard and shop locally to support each other. Then we will look to attract surrounding cities.”
