TransRockies Events Announces Acquisition of Powderface42 Trail Running Race.

PRLog (Press Release) - Mar. 10, 2012 - For years the Powderface42 has been a staple of the trail running scene.  With its challenging course and scenic vistas this race draws a strong field year in and year out and boasts consistent sellouts.  The team at TransRockies Events is thrilled to take over the management of this legendary trail run.  They look forward to hosting the same high caliber race participants are accustomed to and adding their own touch to an already impressive event.

The 2012 edition of the Powderface42 is scheduled for July 14th and will take place on trails 16km west of Bragg Creek, Alberta.  As in previous years the race will include the half marathon (21.1km) distance in addition to the marathon (42.2km) distance.  Registration information is available at www.powderface42.com.
