Feb. 29, 2012 - PRLog -- Washington, DC – The US Pan Asian American Chamber of Commerce Education Foundation (USPAACC) recently led a delegation of large, medium and small businesses to two of the world's fast-growing markets – China and India – to explore business and investment opportunities, create and strengthen strategic partnerships, promote American products and services, and facilitate the exchange of ideas among international business leaders and visionaries.

USPAACC's Asia Trade Mission, held February 8 to 21, 2012, began in the Chinese port city of Qingdao, followed by Xi'an, China, before heading to Hyderabad and New Delhi in India.

This year's Trade Mission was sponsored and hosted by PepsiCo, Haisheng, Hisense, FEI Cargo, GRMI, MSL Express, KHS Machinery, FAPCCI, HMA, Municipal Governments of Qingdao and Xi'an, Xi'an International Business Forum, and IACC.

"Our trade mission's theme, 'Challenges and Opportunities for Cooperation in the Global Economy,' speaks to the enormous business potentials China and India offer Americans as they continue to have a significant presence in the vast marketplace," said USPAACC National President & CEO Susan Au Allen. "These countries' combined complementary strengths will continue to solidify their positions as formidable players in the global economy and we want to ensure that our delegates and their new business partners will become active participants in this burgeoning arena going forward."

In China, the delegates visited the world's largest vehicle manufacturing facility by General Motors/Wuling; and the R&D Center for Hisense, a multi-billion dollar electronics company, both based in Qingdao. The trade mission also visited the city of Xi'an, dubbed as China's "Silicon Valley," where they met the Vice Mayor, visited the factories of Haisheng, the world's largest producer of fruit and vegetable juice concentrates, and Honeywell, a major conglomerate company that produces a variety of consumer products. In each city, USPAACC held the International CEO & Executive Leadership Forum and prescheduled one-on-one business matchmaking meetings, in which a total of 65 Chinese businesses participated.

In India, the trade delegation visited Hyderabad, the financial and political capital of Andhra Pradesh State in Southeast India and the center for IT, biopharmaceuticals and entertainment industries. The delegates met with the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and visited Infotech Enterprises Inc. in the Hyderabad Infocity Hi-Tech Park. The Hyderabad Management Association hosted a reception and dinner for the delegates at the historic Secunderabad Club and the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce organized a breakfast meeting for the delegates where they met with the American Consul General. USPAACC's business program held in Hyderabad attracted over 20 Indian businesses. In New Delhi, the last leg of the trade mission, the delegates had an audience with the Agriculture Minister in his office to discuss mutually beneficial trade and investment relationships and business opportunities.

In these countries, the delegates also had the chance to visit the world-renowned Terracotta Army Warriors Museum in China, as well as the Ramoji Film City Studio, the Falaknuma Palace, and one of the eight wonders of the world – the Taj Mahal – in India.
