Experient Expands Reach into Corporate Market, Appoints Sampson as New Senior Vice President

Feb. 29, 2012 - PRLog -- TWINSBURG, OH – Experient, the source for integrated meeting and event solutions, announces the appointment of Tina Sampson to a new role as Senior Vice President, Corporate Market Development in its fulfillment of a new market service structure.  

“Sampson comes to the Event Management leadership team with a broad base of sales and business development leadership experience serving a wide range of corporate clients in sales and marketing leadership positions,” states Rick Binford, CMP, Experient president, event management services.  “Sampson will play a pivotal role in continuing the expansion of our strategic direction and growth within the corporate market.”

Sampson’s appointment is another step in the new organizational structure announced by Binford late last year.  This new structure continues to unify the strategic sales and account management functions in the event management division of Experient and aligns the segments to serve the unique needs of the corporate market.  

Sampson has held the position of vice president during her tenure at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center overseeing and leading the implementation of strategic sales and marketing initiatives.  In her new role, Sampson will have primary responsibility for overall business development strategy for the corporate market segment and will provide leadership to corporate strategic account management and the strategic sales executive teams.

Prior to joining Experient, Sampson held several other strategic leadership positions with Vail & Rock Resorts and Hyatt Hotels, as well as professional experience as an executive speaker.  She has most recently worked with noted hospitality industry experts, Master Connection Associates, as a keynote speaker at leadership events and facilitator for sales leadership trainings.  Sampson has honed her strategic leadership skills while continuously increasing sales and maximizing results in each position.
