Garbage Gone Glam at Muses & Visionaries

PRLog (Press Release) - Mar. 1, 2012 - On the evening of April 11, 2012 Muses & Visionaries will open their doors to members and press for cocktails and fashion.  This beautiful modern salon will debut their custom Garbage Gone Glam dress at 7 PM. The dress will be seen first by M&V members and will then be on its way to tour with Glam in their next fashion shows to inspire change.

Garbage isn't something we want to think about every day, but managing waste has long-term environmental and economic consequences that can’t be ignored. Since 1960, the amount of waste generated in America has nearly tripled. Our society as a whole - consumers, corporations, and governments - must think proactively about reducing our impact"

Garbage Gone Glam’s mission is to raise awareness of environmental and health issues facing our “throwaway” society.  Through fashion shows, environmental expositions, and other events we will draw attention to the volume and variety of trash thrown away each year, and point out alternative uses and strategies for their use.  

Muses & Visionaries allows women to dream, inspire, support, and create. Their mission is to create an enlightened environment where dynamic and creative women can join together to draw inspiration for their work and lives.
