Snell & Wilmer Lawyers Speak at Gaming Law Conference

Feb. 28, 2012 - PRLog -- LAS VEGAS (February 28, 2011) – Snell & Wilmer partners Heidi McNeil Staudenmaier and Greg Brower recently participated in panel discussions at the American Bar Association's Annual Gaming Law Minefield Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Staudenmaier, a partner in the firm's Phoenix office and a nationally recognized Indian gaming law attorney, spoke about the future of Indian gaming.  Brower, who practices out of the firm's Reno and Las Vegas offices with a focus on litigation, administrative law and investigations, spoke on the policy issues surrounding problem gambling.  Brower also serves in the Nevada State Senate where he plays a key role in the formulation of gaming policy.

Staudenmaier’s practice is focused on Indian Law, Gaming Law and Business Litigation.  She is a Past President of the International Masters of Gaming Law and is a member of the International Association of Gaming Attorneys. She has been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America® in the areas of Gaming Law and Native American Law (2005-2012) and was named Phoenix Gaming Lawyer of the Year in 2011.  Staudenmaier was also named to Chambers Global: America’s Leading Lawyer for Business® list in the area of Gaming & Gambling (Global-Wide) in 2012.

Brower’s practice focuses on complex civil and white collar criminal litigation, as well as corporate investigations and administrative law. Prior to joining Snell & Wilmer, Brower served in a variety of senior government posts. From 2003 to 2004, he was with the U.S. Department of Justice in Washington, D.C. He later served at the U.S. Government Printing Office (GPO), first as Inspector General and then as General Counsel. In 2007, he was appointed as U.S. Attorney for the District of Nevada by President George W. Bush and served in that capacity until September of 2009.
