PRLog (Press Release) -
Feb. 28, 2012 - Perfect for the entire family, this enchanting children's literature classic has been re-imagined in a brilliant musicalization. The story is set in the early years of the 20th century. Orphaned in India, 11-year old Mary Lennox returns to Yorkshire to live with her embittered, reclusive uncle Archibald, whom she has never met. While living with him, she discovers the existence of Archibald's invalid son, Colin, and the two become fast friends. Arhibald's estate holds many wonders, including a magic garden which beckons the children with haunting melodies, and the "Dreamers," spirits from Mary's past who guide her through her new life. This haunting score includes such beautiful songs as Hold On, Lily's Eyes, and Winter's On The Wing. This show will be one to touch your hearts.
