Feb. 28, 2012 - PRLog -- Wombs Waiting and Wombs Wanted is now open for business.

Wombs Waiting and Wombs Wanted has been formed to help couples that are suffering from infertility find a solution so that they may start a family.  

We help by doing the following:

  We accept donor profiles from couples that are wanting to donate frozen embryos.

  We accept recipient profiles from couples who are looking for frozen embryo donations.

This a great way for these couples to help one another.

Couples that have frozen embryos in storage are the result of IVF (In Vitro Fertilzation).
These couples have a decision to make once they have completed their families. What to do with their extra embryos, which are kept in storage in a frozen state. Many of these embryo's die or donated to science.  

Embryo Donation is a morale alternative for those frozen embryos.

There are many couples who want to have children, but are suffering from infertility, or can't meet adoption requirements due to age or other factors.  

What ever the reason may be.  Accepting an Embryo Donation (not the same as Embryo Adoption but very similar concepts) can be the answer.  The restrictions and the laws for Embryo Donations are relaxed and less costly than adoption or other avenues that may be considered.

The founder has personal experience with this and she has felt the pain of being childless and having time take her options away from her. She started this company to help couples find a solution for having a child thru Frozen Embryo Donation.

Donors are couples that have completed their families and find themselves with additional unused frozen embryos from IVF.

Who are the recipients? Couples that are still struggling to build their families. Couples who have not been able to conceive on their own for many different reasons. Yet they still want and desire the opportunity to experience pregnancy, bonding with baby in utero and labor in the traditional way.
