Child care providers all across the nation focus on Dr. Seuss lesson plans, themes and activities the week of his birthday. Read Across America also has a challenge for child care providers and parents to read a Dr. Seuss book with their child on March 2nd.
ChildCareInfo.com has seen so many fun and interactive examples of what parents and providers can do on this special day that ChildCareInfo.com wanted to encourage even more sharing of the wonderful things adults can do with the children during this special time (or later in the year).
Child care providers and parents are to submit photos and a description of the activity now through March 8th. The contestants will have their friends and colleagues vote on their activity and the rest of the community will vote on their favorite from March 9th through the 16th. The contestant with the most votes wins three Dr. Seuss books of his/her choice.
The contest can be found here: http://childcareinfo.com/
