s effort to win such a coveted beauty award is headed by the company’s publicist, Elise Hamamoto. Elise joined the company in July of 2011 and is thrilled to be in charge of the public relations efforts for the company she considers to be one of her hometown’s best kept secrets. One of Elise’s favorite parts of the job is interacting with the company’s 26,000 Facebook fans by sharing beauty tips as well as her own experiences with beauty products, most recently the results of a “best sunless tan” contest between her and another co-worker. The point of this contest was to show followers that the sunless tanning lotions put to the test present a safe and effective alternative to tanning beds.
