Feb. 27, 2012 - PRLog -- SAN FRANCISCO, CA (February 27, 2012) – Blue Lotus Films Producer announces final online incentive campaign for donations to fund completion of SPRAYPAINT: THE FINE ART OF CHOR BOOGIE. Individual funding will enable the final phase: documenting international art projects and post-production. Contribute to the $10,000 goal at Indiegogo.com: (http://www.indiegogo.com/HELP-FUND-SPRAYPAINT-THE-MOVIE).

Already in production, SPRAYPAINT will be a provocative documentary film that engages viewers by allowing them to witness firsthand the unique techniques of renowned spraypaint artist, Chor Boogie. SPRAYPAINT will examine the forces that have made his legal murals internationally famous. The film will take an up-close look at the effect on the human mind of his original color therapy technique and explore his past life of addiction that lead him to seek healing through art. Viewers will get an inside-look at his unique techniques and the uplifting spiritual healing he has brought to a worldwide fan base.

CHOR BOOGIE makes spray cans do magical things. His art is not easily categorized. It is certainly not graffiti- and it is more fine art than urban art. He has been making art with spray paint for nearly two decades, and has painted murals globally.
His dynamic range of artistic styles can translate to soulful images, carefully shaded portraits, an engaging world of color therapy and beautifully composed geometric landscapes that, upon seeing, many viewers have described as a cosmic experience.

SPRAYPAINT is directed/produced by Sarah Fisher who made the award-winning indie cult hit film on punk rock and spirituality, MEDITATE AND DESTROY(http://www.meditateanddestroy.com). She has embraced the medium of film to bring much needed awareness of ‘sacred cinema’ to audiences. Instead of a biography or typical documentary on the street art scene, the film will take a visionary filmmaking approach that experiments as much with style and substance as Chor does in his own work. She has collected over 60 hours of footage thus far in cities around the world.

Proceeds will directly benefit this film and all donations are 100% tax deductible. This project is fiscally sponsored by From the Heart Productions- a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization that supports worthy artists. Funds will be used for travel expenses, hiring crew, equipment rentals, purchasing external hard drives to store digitized footage and event coordination for a future LIVE fundraising event.

People around the world have already been uplifted by witnessing Chor Boogie's art. Now is your chance to get your name in the film credits and great incentive perks that will NOT be offered after February 29, 2012 midnight PST.

On Monday February 27th, a new incentive perk was added: the first twenty people who donate $50 or above on this day will get an original Chor Boogie, Boogie Bird painting ($100 value).
