Regina Grisales, Organic Bed N Bath’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing says that while she was always conscious of the environment and supported activities like recycling, it was a documentary about solid waste that sparked the idea for her own green business. In it, she saw piles of garbage contaminating the environment and “the air our children breath”.
“The documentary featured a company that was recycling garbage and making fabric out of it, they were making clothes and carpet out of this never-ending pile of garbage,” says Grisales. “I was in awe and I thought ‘what an amazing way to help our environment, I want to make a difference, too.’”
Thus, Organic Bed N Bath was born as an eco-friendly company focused on organic products. Grisales says that as the business grows, she is conscious of her impact on the environment. “We decided to join the GBB to make our commitment official and to learn additional ways in which we could help our environment,”
