Myrrhia Fine Knitwear Releases Fall 2012 Collection

PRLog (Press Release) - Feb. 25, 2012 - OAKLAND, Calif. (Feb. 23, 2012) - From word-of-mouth to attention from top fashion blogs, Myrrhia Fine Knitwear is expanding with the release of its Fall 2012 line.  

The brainchild of entrepreneur Myrrhia Resneck, MFK has now expanded into the wholesale market and is shipping orders to North America and Europe.

Each garment is loomed from 100 percent soft worsted merino wool, spun in Springvale, Maine and finished by Andari Fashion, Inc., near downtown Los Angeles.

The Fall 2012 line - available for inspection at www.myrrhia.com/fall2012.htm -- includes vests, sweaters and dresses made of light, stretchy wool that's easy to care for and doesn't wrinkle.

Neither flashy nor understated each piece is designed to foster self-expression, says 33-year-old founder Myrrhia Resneck. “Human creativity itself was the inspiration for the collection,” she said. “The radiating pattern tries to evoke the dynamic energy inside of everyone.”

Available in a variety of colors and tones from cool violets, warm oranges, and formal neutrals, MFK's Fall 2012 line is designed to skirt a line between the stylishly casual and the soberly formal.

Founded in 2010, Myrrhia Fine Knitwear is headquartered at the 25th Street Collective, a small business incubator for sewing entrepreneurs in Oakland, California. Its initial success grew from exposure at Oakland's Art Murmur street market though today it's shipped globally to customers.
