PRLog - Feb. 25, 2012 - UAE, February 2012 – Dining with parents can often be a bore for children but the Taj Palace Hotel has come up with a novel solution for their new Friday brunch to keep kids entertained allowing parents to dine in peace. The Little Chefs Brunch gives kids aged between four and twelve the opportunity to don a chef’s jacket, hat and apron and get hands on experience in the preparation and cooking of dishes such as cookies, pizza and crepes.

“We have come up with a selection of dishes that we know kids love to eat so they can have a go at preparing the dishes themselves” said Oukba Nafai food and beverage director, Taj Palace Hotel Dubai “The whole activity is supervised by our chefs and is designed to be educational as well as fun. We have even created chef’s whites for them to wear whilst they are cooking so they get to feel the part and stay clean at the same time”

In addition to the Little Chefs activity corner the hotel has also created a kids action zone with bouncy castle, face painting, cartoons and Play Station to keep kids of all ages entertained. The hotel will also be offering a behind-the-scenes look at hotel life with a tour of the Taj Palace facilities and departments.

The brunch features the best dishes from the hotel’s dining outlets – Handi, Sakura and Topkapi and is priced at Dhs 139 inclusive of soft drinks. In addition to main courses such as chicken biryani and mixed grill there is a carving station Peking duck, Shawarma and Ouzi. There is also a pasta station and a teppanyaki grill serving salmon, hammour, prawns, chicken and beef tenderloin.

The Friday brunch runs from 12 noon to 4 pm every week.
