Feb. 24, 2012 - PRLog -- San Francisco, CA – The San Francisco Bulls Hockey Organization has announced Angela Batinovich as their new Chief Financial Officer.  Batinovich, a San Francisco Bay Area native, has been recognized as a top sports executive and was previously the owner and Managing Partner of a professional Lacrosse team.

“The Bulls front office just got stronger,” stated Pat Curcio, President and Head Coach of the Bulls. “Angela has the experience and is a pro when it comes to franchise building. She represents just the kind of talent we’re looking for and we are happy to have her.”

Prior to the Bulls, Batinovich was the Managing Partner and majority shareholder of the Portland LumberJax franchise of the National Lacrosse League. In 2005 Batinovich led the startup effort for the new expansion team and led her franchise to an impressively successful first season, winning the West Division Title.  In addition to her responsibilities with the LumberJax, Batinovich served as a member of the League’s expansion committee.

“I was fortunate to have the opportunity to build and manage a pro sports team in my early twenties and I was immediately hooked,” said Batinovich.  “The Bulls is another unique opportunity and I am excited to build the franchise and bring something special to the San Francisco Bay Area.”

In May of 2006, Batinovich was named Executive of the Year by the NLL Board of Governors.  Batinovich also holds the record for being the youngest owner of a professional sports franchise at 24 years old.  Batinovich currently resides in Burlingame with her husband and 3-year-old daughter.
