Live music with the Glynn Vivian Art Gallery on Saturday 25 February

PRLog (Press Release) - Feb. 24, 2012 - This Saturday 25 February, at 3.30pm, Glynn Vivian Offsite Activities presents live music at the YMCA Kingsway, as Swansea band Thistledown kick off our first Free:30 Session of 2012.

The energetic five-piece will perform their unique brand of upbeat, modern, celtic folk-rock songs inspired by the Gower and Swansea town.

Thistledown have already received airplay on Amazing Radio and Off the Chart radio and been featured on their weekly listener-driven unsigned chart show, The Unchart.

The bands’ lead singers Loz Fancourt and Nathan Laurence have collaborated with various local musicians over the past few years and have performed contemporary, original folk music, separately and together, at many local festivals and venues in the Swansea area.
