Robert Barnes - Printex Screen Printing Equipment US Tour

March 2012 Robert Barnes and Printex Owner Andrew Sleszynski will embark on the United States Printex Screen Printing Equipment Tour. They will be visiting the US owners of Printex machines as well as visiting several equipment dealers along the way.

Feb. 23, 2012 - PRLog -- Andrew Sleszynski from Printex UE, s.c. is one of the founding members of the manufacturing company based out of Poland. The primary purpose of this expedition is to meet face to face with the majority of the customers and operators of the Printex brand of screen printing equipment. Sleszynski's primary focus with be to gather feedback regarding the performance of the equipment, offering support, and dealer networking.

Robert Barnes as the customer service and support affiliate in the US, will be coordinating the travel itinerary and assisting Sleszynski in properly assessing the needs of the customers. Barnes, an industry veteran, has worked directly with several other manufacturers of t-shirt printing presses over the past 20 years.

The schedule includes (but is not limited to) travel to Miami, Detroit, Memphis, Charlotte, Austin, Lubbock, and Salt Lake City.

As for the Printex Prism 16 Color 18 Station currently in use at Tee's to Plee's, it regularly prints large runs of 12 to 13 colors with two (2) to three (3) flashes and has never had a day of down time. This was the first Printex Prism in the United States. It lacks some of the features of the newer Prism II (such as digital off-contact, and the increasingly popular servo lift), but it does have the full functionality afforded by the membrane panels giving the operator full control at every print head.

This YouTube demonstration of the print head membrane control panels was made by the Detroit Show Shop customer, Mark Dabiero Jr. of Flying Colors:
