MEDIA ALERT: Non-Profit Grants Sick North Carolina Boy an At-Home Ice Skating Rink

The Ride to a Wish Foundation, a Virginia-based children's charity that serves Virginia and North Carolina, together with volunteers from three states and Logan Danforth, a childhood cancer victim from North Carolina.

What:   
The Ride to a Wish will sponsor the official “wish-granting” party for Logan, a North Carolina teen who has requested an at-home ice-skating rink.

Where:   
The “wish-granting” party will be held at 1110 Stacie Drive in Elizabeth City, NC.

When:   
Saturday, February 25, 2012 at 2:00pm. Representatives from the Ride to a Wish, “Wish Kid” Logan Danforth and his family, and volunteers who built the ice-skating rink will be available for TV and radio interviews beginning at 2:00pm.

Why:      
The Ride to a Wish Foundation is granting the wish of a childhood victim of cancer.

Founded in 2009 by a group of volunteers, the Ride to a Wish grants wishes to children battling life-threatening illnesses.
