Detroit Author using Bowling to Promote Books and Literacy

Who would have thought books and bowling would go together?   RDW Creations remains enthused about promoting literacy within the community through creative means.  Bowling is considered one of the most popular sports and recreational activities that brings people together.    It is an awesome opportunity that both adults and children can participate in to discuss books and/or encourage literacy within the community.  The Book~N~Bowl event aims to entice readers of all ages to attend.

Largely inspired by the Harlem Renaissance Movement, Diamond in the Rough is an inspirational book of affirmations, designed to strengthen, encourage, and uplift; especially during times of challenge. Diamond in the Rough inspires by drawing from the wisdom and challenges of our literary leaders. This book encourages self awareness through action by remembering the legacy and labor of others.

On March 31,2012 at Majestic Garden Bowl located in Midtown Detroit, RDW Creations will host Book~N~Book: A meet and greet with Detroit Author Rosey Denise White.  She will discuss the details or her book, the vision for her business, and participate in a book signing with guest.  There will be FREE game play, FREE Pizza, Contest, Door Prizes and Give-a-ways. Copies of Diamond in the Rough will also be on display for purchase.   Kids are welcomed and encouraged to attend.
