Nyco Expands Boating and Marine Product Line with Acquisition of ZING AHEAD Brand

PRLog (Press Release) - Feb. 22, 2012 - Countryside, Illinois – Nyco Products Company announced that it has acquired Manufacturers' Sales Agency, Clarksville, Missouri, and its marine cleaning brand ZING AHEAD® Products, known in the industry for formulas that effectively remove lime, scum, exhaust and waterline stains from marine vehicles. The sale was completed February 20, 2012. Nyco will continue to manufacture Zing Boat Hull Cleaner and Zing Formula IV Aluminum / Pontoon Boat Cleaner under the ZING AHEAD® brand names.

The acquisition is expected to be transparent for ZING AHEAD® customers. Nyco had already been manufacturing, warehousing and distributing ZING AHEAD® products under a 12-year contract agreement, and will now be taking over marketing and all customer service functions at their Countryside, Illinois corporate offices. “Customers will now be able to place orders directly with Nyco’s customer service team” according to Nyco Vice President of Sales, John Wunderlich. “We are confident this transition will be seamless and beneficial to our mutual customers.”

The addition of ZING AHEAD® Products expands Nyco’s marine and transportation product line, which also includes carpet and upholstery cleaners, surface protectants and polishes, and bio-enzymatic treatments and deodorizers.
