The PiggyBackPack was invented in 2007 and has been evolving over the past five years to be more comfortable, versatile, stronger and lighter.
It was designed to carry kids 2 & older when they outgrow their baby backpacks. A backrest with seatbelt has been added to make it easier to hold little ones and kids with disabilities. The pack is strong, so it can be used to carry big kids and even adults who need assistance.
The compact frame transfers the weight of the rider to the carrying person’s hips. This helps to avoid spinal compression and back pain that is common when kids are carried on parent’s backs and shoulders.
The PiggyBackPack is great for hiking, shopping and traveling. The compact system can fit under your airplane seat and can fit with you in most amusement park rides. For families with kids that can’t quite keep up, the PiggyBackPack is great to keep the group happy and moving forward.
The Pack is currently sold on Amazon and at www.piggybackpack.net and the list of retailers being approached includes Toys-R-Us, Pottery Barn Kids, Giggle and REI.
Kids spend over 50 hrs/week watching TV, surfing the web, playing video games and texting. Jeff Bryce, PiggyBackPack President wants to help more families get outdoors and enjoy the beautiful world around us.
