Follow on Google News | March is Desperate Housecats Month at Naperville Area Humane SocietyDuring the month of March, all cats age six months or older at the Naperville Area Humane Society are available for adoption for only $5.
By: Angie Wood “There are hundreds of thousands of homeless cats in shelters waiting desperately for homes of their own,” said Angie Wood, executive director of the Naperville Area Humane Society. “When you couple that with the thought of how many cats, both owned and stray, need to enter these shelters, the numbers are staggering. A successful Desperate Housecats promotion with cats available for adoption for only five dollars means more cats will find homes and make space available for those cats still needing our help.” At NAHS, all cats are up to date on core vaccinations, spayed or neutered, microchipped and FIV/FeLV negative. Adoption counselors are available to talk with you about the cats and help you make the right match.
