Since the initial stages there has been several meetings with the regulatory body ART, Ministry officials of Cameroon, All pushing towards the end result of licensing.
Nvirocom have maintained the full focus of Cameroonian's and during negotiation processes, work stimulation has already begun with local expertise being utilised.
One of Nvirocom achievements were approved licensing provided by the ART on January 4th 2011 and operations started promptly after.
Negotiations with the local telecom operators have been extremely successful with Camtel S.A proving to be the most efficient, reliable and friendly towards Nvirocom operations.
With call termination Nvirocom now hope to become the market leader in Cameroon and shortly after other countries across Africa as well.
The overall benefit of doing this is to create a stable network that companies can utilize on securing lower cost routes for there traffic but also with the full attention to deplete all market fraud.
For years telecom operators have been taken to the cleaners by illegal termination scams where individuals have gone to countries and set up operations with no intention of paying bills and certainly no intention of working with the government and operators. This has left a sour taste in a lot of operator’s mouths leaving no room for real operations to take place.
Nvirocom hope that as a first in Cameroon we can now lead the way for legitimate operations, ultimately Nvirocom wish to strengthen there own relationship with government figures to broaden the potential for stimulating work and all other projects across Africa.
